[ her voice is part exasperation, part thoughtfulness because it does tell her a bit about who had done... this for her.

as she looks around to look for the young one with blue eyes, she finds herself become less and less interested in searching them out. what would she do next if she does find them? confront them and say thank you? try to strike up a conversation?

the idea makes her a little nervous, still unused to the vibrancy and the openness of the people, so she mostly withdraws. mostly. she's found it easier to speak with the others in the same situation as her. those who stick out for one reason or another. those who she got to know better due to their shared circumstances.
