I FINALLY RESPONDED, PRAISE ME AND GIVE ME REIJI-KUN

[ So, what was a girl going to do on one of her few free days from practice, especially when her friends are all busy with other things?

Spend time with another friend of hers and a fellow idol, of course! That was Honoka's line of thinking when she invited Reiji to come join her in Akihabara just to hang out - plus, who knows? Maybe they could both get inspiration for future performances by watching the street idols and performers out here, too! It'd be like killing two birds with one stone!

. . . of course, knowing her she'd focus more on the hanging out and the street food part of their excursion, but. Nothing wrong with that, right?

In any case, that sure is Honoka looking around the station where she planned to meet Reiji - and she was feeling a little mischievous. Her hope was that she'd find him first and spook him a little, but there were so many people here...! ( Which means it would probably be more likely that Reiji would find her first... ) ]

[ It's taken Reiji a bit of time to actually get to Akihabara Station - rushing his plans so that he can finish practice early, settling Shizuma so that the other won't follow him - but he's done it, and it's only three minutes that he's late by.

True to his surprisingly perceptive nature, he's able to spot her rather quickly. Are they going to try and sneak around to spook each other? It's just a matter of who sees the other first: ]

[ Well, Honoka looks like she has things together! Soon she can find him and startle him!

. . . until Reiji suddenly morphs out of her peripheral - when did that happen--? ]

HIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE--!

[ THAT sure is Honoka screaming and hitting octaves she normally wouldn't ever hit as she jumps out of her hiding spot, accidentally faceplanting the nearby vending machine before she's able to properly process what happened... ]

[ Well, that certainly is one large scream. It's enough to give even Reiji visible surprise, but he recovers quickly to try and help Honoka up from where she'd run into the machine. ]

Are you sure? If you're hurt anywhere, we can get it seen.

[ It is kinda his fault for making her jump, after all. ]

I-I'm okay, Reiji-kun! Just a little rattled...

[ Yeah, she's unsurprisingly still pretty spirited after all of that. ]

I think I have a bandage in my bag somewhere, so if you don't mind putting it on my forehead... then afterwards we can head out!

[ Well, he wouldn't expect anything less from Honoka. ]

[ Poking into her bag and rooting around for the bandage now. He's careful when he applies it, with a degree of focus usually not seen in his relaxed countenance.

Then it's gone and he's smiling again. ]

[ Ah... was he always this gentle? For the most part Honoka was more familiar with his "idol" self, as it were, but after seeing him that focused...

There's a faint blush on her face as she nods, grinning as she grabbed his hand to take him with her. ]

[ There's a lot that most people don't know about Reiji, and the biggest part is his hidden side. He's able to drop his playful attitude instantly if it's necessary. ]

Alright! Is there any particular place you have in mind?

[ Akihabara had its famous cafes and anime stores, but maybe it's not that. ]

Well, I can think of a few places, but I wanted to ask if there was anything you wanted to do since we're here!

I'm up for anything, so the sky's the limit.

[ Akihabara really has everything for all kinds of people, it's true... ]

Not really. I'm good with trying out anything new.

[ They're going to go around in circles if they keep doing this, so... ]

Then we might as well spend as much time as we can having fun out here!

Though to do that we should get something to eat first so we'll have the energy for it!

[ Time is of the essence.... and since Reiji rearranged his schedule so he'd be free today, it's all good. ]

I have just the idea, actually! There's a new cafe that opened up not too far from here!

[ But will Honoka's idea be much better than Reiji's...

Here we are! This is where I usually go for lunch when I'm spending the day out here...

Kotori-chan, Umi-chan and I would always come here during our free days...

You know, a maid cafe is usually for boys, right?

Girls in my school go to butler cafes... I ran one before...

Ah... I see! Our school's close to mostly maid cafes, so we usually go there instead...

Plus, this place is particularly convenient since Kotori-chan worked here for a time, too. So we know the staff pretty well!
