two immortals walk into a bar
Come, all ye immortals... ![]() You walk into a bar. Maybe you were given a ticket by a fellow passing immortal, or had the prescience to obtain one yourself - whichever it is, the well-polished key will take you to an establishment that operates outside the confinements of spacetime. A bar exclusively for immortals, whether you were born this way or attained it as a mortal being. Gods, demons, vampires - no matter what you are, you are welcome here. It serves a myraid of drinks and snacks catered to the tastes of every world, so it's easy to find something palatable (even including human souls, if that's your preferred food). A corridor leads down the lounge to a variety of other rooms. Opening a door would transform it into a pool room, a singing room, or perhaps a quiet place for meditation. The establishment responds to the will of its patrons - as long as you behave, you will be allowed to stay here for as long as you like. Come in and take a seat. Maybe there's someone looking for you. |

And so there she goes, following the corridor, peeking through each room. It seems like a very nice place for leisure, though she doesn't even know where to begin.
So she tries a little of everything.]
A
[Everyone seems to be going for the snacks and drinks, so she gives it a shot. This one seems to be this weird shaped jerky snack, which, honestly? Looks completely unappetising. It's...moldy green?
CAN'T SAY SHE WON'T TRY ANYTHING.]
Here it goes... [And she puts it into her mouth, and starts to chew...]
Oh! It's rather good.
B
[B IS FOR BEACH. As in, one of the rooms transformed into an indoor beach?! What the heck? Vietnam stares at it from the doorway, eyes wide.]
Goodness! It's too big to...ah? [Were the coconuts on those palm trees just way too big?]
C
[So this "games room", you have your video games, where people seem to be out for blood. Your boardgames, where people are also out for blood. Card games? Out for blood. The billiards table? Air hockey? Still out for blood. Oh! And karaoke. Maybe less out for blood.
...She's also out for blood, where should she start?!]
Hmm... [Then again, doesn't mean she's good at any of these.]
D
[WILLLLDCAAARD just hit me up with whatever!]
B
What he doesn't really notice is how one of the coconuts is deciding to fall on him. It's probably three times as tall as he is (and he's six feet), so maybe she wants to do something to alert him....? ]

WATCH OUT. THAT COCONUT IS OUT TO KILL.

It rolls away from point of impact and towards the water. Ain in spirit form shoots away at high speed from the fruit, ending up several stories up in the air before he turns around and pops back into existence a polite distance away from Vietnam. ]
That fruit was highly offensive. [ To his everything. ] I must thank you for the warning.
B
A beach like the ones that he heard about! White and sandy and warm and with tall trees with brown spheres and huge pointy leaves on them. So the ocean should be warm too, right?]
What is too big?
[Looking down, Vietnam will spot a familiar face - only not really in a familiar get-up. For one, Russia is way younger than she's probably ever seen him.
Muscovy's hair is long and braided intricately, with decorative elements set into it very deliberately. He's wearing a dark grey, futuristic looking jumpsuit, though the upper part is down and tied around his hips by the sleeves and only a tank top is worn on the upper half - he's clearly coming from a warmer climate.]

Cute...]
These palm trees, do you not think they're big? Especially the coconuts. [She's noting his clothes, it's nothing as thick as Russia once wore. Wonder why?] The coconuts look very dangerous, but they probably have a lot of juice for us.

Then you just have to be more careful when you harvest them, yes?
[Going by that tone of voice, it's definitely Russia.]
But they are nice trees, because you'll be able to feed more people with them.
