Come, all ye immortals... You walk into a bar. Maybe you were given a ticket by a fellow passing immortal, or had the prescience to obtain one yourself - whichever it is, the well-polished key will take you to an establishment that operates outside the confinements of spacetime. A bar exclusively for immortals, whether you were born this way or attained it as a mortal being. Gods, demons, vampires - no matter what you are, you are welcome here. It serves a myraid of drinks and snacks catered to the tastes of every world, so it's easy to find something palatable (even including human souls, if that's your preferred food). A corridor leads down the lounge to a variety of other rooms. Opening a door would transform it into a pool room, a singing room, or perhaps a quiet place for meditation. The establishment responds to the will of its patrons - as long as you behave, you will be allowed to stay here for as long as you like. Come in and take a seat. Maybe there's someone looking for you. [ this meme is for nonhuman characters who have lifespans longer than humans. OU, AU, OC, whichever goes! ]

Oh? Does he like to watch, then?

He likes to make sure that nobody is being silly about it.

That is what he does back home. [He has the most morally excellent surrogate parents, on all counts of everything.]

That is nice of him, to continue his work when he is not at home.

I'm glad he looks after you. What's your new world like?

It is very warm and there are not many people, and there aren't many plants or animals that are edible. But there are very few things that are trying to eat us, too. [So it all evens out in the end, in his opinion.]

Fewer things that try to eat you is good! [ Maglor agrees ]

Do they provide food, if you cannot hunt?

[muscovy]

[He tilts his head in puzzlement, not sure if he understood the question correctly.]

We scavenge as much as we hunt.

[bythewaves]

No supplies provided? [ Maglor frowns in concern ] Do you have enough, Muscovy? I could try and leave extra things here for you to take, if needed.

[muscovy]

We have enough to survive. [And normally he would leave it there, to not reveal weakness. But this is his father, and thus he'll actually list what they really need, because he trusts him.] We need a new waterproof blanket, and a wetstone and two new knives, and medical supplies. And mother needs a new shirt. And food would be nice. [None of them can die from starvation, but that doesn't mean that starving is nice.]

I will see what I can bring. [ He promises ] Although food I can do right now, for you! I think a good meal is in order, eh?
