Come, all ye immortals... You walk into a bar. Maybe you were given a ticket by a fellow passing immortal, or had the prescience to obtain one yourself - whichever it is, the well-polished key will take you to an establishment that operates outside the confinements of spacetime. A bar exclusively for immortals, whether you were born this way or attained it as a mortal being. Gods, demons, vampires - no matter what you are, you are welcome here. It serves a myraid of drinks and snacks catered to the tastes of every world, so it's easy to find something palatable (even including human souls, if that's your preferred food). A corridor leads down the lounge to a variety of other rooms. Opening a door would transform it into a pool room, a singing room, or perhaps a quiet place for meditation. The establishment responds to the will of its patrons - as long as you behave, you will be allowed to stay here for as long as you like. Come in and take a seat. Maybe there's someone looking for you. [ this meme is for nonhuman characters who have lifespans longer than humans. OU, AU, OC, whichever goes! ]

[ here's a newcomer— a short, brightly colored young lady who's chosen a seat near the bar, though not at it. she's already absconded with a plate full of the more sweet available snacks to accompany a cup of tea, which she's idly blowing the steam off of as she looks over the bar's other patrons with bright interest.

...which might or might not be enough to distract anybody looking at her from noticing that she's also quietly swapping out the salt in a shaker for sugar. oh boy. ]

Fairly often! People-watching is a favorite pastime of mine, and there are all sorts here.

Though I have to say that this place is surprisingly full of people who are pleasant on the eye every time I come here. Must be something about immortality doing it. [...] Well, to some. [Considering that the Nosferatu Clan exists, some people are also turned ugly by immortality.]

Perhaps it's less immortality itself and more the power or knowledge that tends comes with it? If you're dissatisfied with how you look, I don't see many people sitting on their hands about it when they've got so much time to fix things.

True, all to true... and often the ability to do more than mortals can do. Or to do anything worthwile at all.

Mm... I don't know about that. "Worthwhile" is fairly subjective concept, isn't it?
