two immortals walk into a bar
Come, all ye immortals... ![]() You walk into a bar. Maybe you were given a ticket by a fellow passing immortal, or had the prescience to obtain one yourself - whichever it is, the well-polished key will take you to an establishment that operates outside the confinements of spacetime. A bar exclusively for immortals, whether you were born this way or attained it as a mortal being. Gods, demons, vampires - no matter what you are, you are welcome here. It serves a myraid of drinks and snacks catered to the tastes of every world, so it's easy to find something palatable (even including human souls, if that's your preferred food). A corridor leads down the lounge to a variety of other rooms. Opening a door would transform it into a pool room, a singing room, or perhaps a quiet place for meditation. The establishment responds to the will of its patrons - as long as you behave, you will be allowed to stay here for as long as you like. Come in and take a seat. Maybe there's someone looking for you. |
Muscovy | Hetalia CRAU
That doesn't change that he's looking for his big bro right now, though, and there is a very good chance that Firo came here to gamble, it not really being a thing on the Planet.
So now the little nation is wandering down the corridor, poking his head into every door and hoping to find the younger immortal behind one of them.
He will also walk around and ask people:] Have you seen my big bro?
[ooc: Muscovy is a nation and a few hundred years old. He is also developmentally a child.]

[ The bard sits by the corner, mostly ignored except when he sings, and then the whole room turns to look, or drifts away into dreams without ever truly knowing why.
But he looks down at Muscovy and smiles, and the light of stars is in his eyes ]
I did not know you had a brother.

Expect a very tight hug, Maglor.]
I do! And a mother!

Hello Muscovy. You've done very well for yourself, I see!

[ Maglor smiles ]
What are their names? And are they here? [ He does wonder about that definition of fun ]
no subject
[He has indeed grown, but hasn't really noticed - it was too gradual, too unexpected, and his clothes have always been on the too-big side so nothing got uncomfortable.]
Nations can't grow without their people around.
Big bro is Firo Prochainezo and mother is Rey Prochainezo and I am Muscovy Maglorion Prochainezo now. [And all of that is narrated with a lot of pride. FAMILY WAS MADE.] ...Big bro should be somewhere around here.

[ Maglor teases with a fond hair ruffle ]
I am sure you are a little taller than I remember. Perhaps you have new people now, with your new family. I would like to meet him, and thank him for looking after you - perhaps we can search for him together?
no subject
[He adopted new people. One or two, sure, but... he did.]
We can search together! Big bro Firo likes gambling, so if there is a gambling room he will be there. But he doesn't gamble.
[He doesn't understand this one entirely. But that doesn't mean that it can't be.]
no subject
Oh? Does he like to watch, then?
no subject
That is what he does back home. [He has the most morally excellent surrogate parents, on all counts of everything.]
no subject
[ Maglor really wonders what this brother does now ]
That is nice of him, to continue his work when he is not at home.

He is very nice!

As Muscovy may have guessed, Firo is indeed looking for a card game or something to keep his interest.
And then, from down the hallway, he hears that very familiar voice.]
Hey, Muscovy! What're you doing here?
no subject
[He wanders over to Firo.]
What are you doing?"
no subject
Well, you got me.
Uh... Just thought I'd see what's going on here--you know, there's not much to do where we are... Anyway, a gathering of immortals like this wouldn't happen outside my family back home.
What about you? This doesn't seem like a place for a kid.
no subject
Why would such a gathering not happen back where you are from?
And it is a place for me because my family is here, yes? [Well, one of them. That's totally enough justification.]
no subject
Can't argue with that logic.
[Family belongs together. And besides, any trouble that would find Muscovy here will have to go through Firo first.]
And it wouldn't happen back home because... well, not all of the immortals were friends. Was it like that where you lived?
no subject
...Not everyone is friends. A lot of people aren't friends. [But one day, he will fix that.] I don't know very many of the others though. A lot of them would want to bully me because I'm not very strong. [Or not strong at all. But he is stronger now... He wonders if a nation would ever show up in this bar.]
no subject
[Muscovy is a tough kid, but... well, he isn't very big, and Firo can remember what that was like in childhood. So his reaction isn't surprise but the natural brotherly outrage.]
Yeah, well, nobody's gonna mess with you here. And you tell me if you see anybody who does that, got it? I've got no idea who could show up here.
no subject
But Firo is staying, and Firo would never bully him, and Firo will protect him. Best big bro, he is very pleased with this acquisition.]
I will.
...Are you here often?
no subject
Actually, this is my first time checking this place out.
What about you?
[Kids have to wander, but he does worry about the idea of Muscovy coming here by himself too often. He's just too young--or, well, small. But it's easy to forget that he's not very young at all.]
no subject
I've been here before. Mother used to be very silly and go into the Tranqulity alone, yes? So I followed her. But one time I got stuck in a part that broke down, and then I found this place. And I could exit it somewhere else. [So he's been through rather than here before.
no subject
[Now that he's aware, all the ways that could've gone wrong flood into his head. Rey and Muscovy could've gotten lost, hurt... maybe he should get off this train of thought.
He shakes his head and plasters on a smile.]
...You're a good kid. She's lucky to have you.
Hey, what do you mean by "somewhere else"?
no subject
Now that Firo mentions it.]
I never tried to go anywhere but back to the camp.
[But now he wonders if they can go to worlds that aren't the one that they're from when they exit the door to this place...
