Maybe you were given a ticket by a fellow passing immortal, or had the prescience to obtain one yourself - whichever it is, the well-polished key will take you to an establishment that operates outside the confinements of spacetime. A bar exclusively for immortals, whether you were born this way or attained it as a mortal being. Gods, demons, vampires - no matter what you are, you are welcome here. It serves a myraid of drinks and snacks catered to the tastes of every world, so it's easy to find something palatable (even including human souls, if that's your preferred food). A corridor leads down the lounge to a variety of other rooms. Opening a door would transform it into a pool room, a singing room, or perhaps a quiet place for meditation. The establishment responds to the will of its patrons - as long as you behave, you will be allowed to stay here for as long as you like. Come in and take a seat. Maybe there's someone looking for you. [ this meme is for nonhuman characters who have lifespans longer than humans. OU, AU, OC, whichever goes! ]

I'm not sure why I'm here, either, but it's no good if you aren't having fun with it. ...I'm fairly sure there are other rooms with different things to do in them; do you want to go see if any of them are more to your liking?

Though I have to say that this place is surprisingly full of people who are pleasant on the eye every time I come here. Must be something about immortality doing it. [...] Well, to some. [Considering that the Nosferatu Clan exists, some people are also turned ugly by immortality.]

Jackie just. Blinks and tilts his head for a while. And then reaches over to prod the carpet, because in a bar where half the patrons are superpowered, that is a great idea.

[ Merlin is waaaay too wasted to realise what's happening, so he lets himself get scooped up from the floor. ]

[ Cagliostro reaches for the book, looking at it herself. She looks at it in great detail, admiring the leatherwork and the quality of pages. It seems like this book is well worn but taken care of. She starts reading it, to the point that she doesn't notice when Lord Light comes back and sits back with a pot of tea. ]

[ she wrinkles her nose, though it's more or less in a friendly sort of way. ]

Perhaps it's less immortality itself and more the power or knowledge that tends comes with it? If you're dissatisfied with how you look, I don't see many people sitting on their hands about it when they've got so much time to fix things.

[ she certainly hadn't, even if the modifications had been an entirely instinctual move on her part to escape what had been an ill-fitting mess. ]

"I don't come in all that often," Stone admits, but he does take the offered seat. And the drink, ordering some sweet sort of dessert wine. The alcohol doesn't do much for him, might as well enjoy something sweet. "I'm Stone."

He eyes him once, with his good eye-- thanks for choosing the wrong shoulder, making him turn his head all that way-- then says,]

Why wouldn't I? You ought to know this isn't what I normally look like. I might not be as unscrupulous as your old friends, but I do prefer my meat as close to raw as they'll let me.

[He has indeed grown, but hasn't really noticed - it was too gradual, too unexpected, and his clothes have always been on the too-big side so nothing got uncomfortable.]

This establishment is more willing to cater to that than most, I've find.

[ He's fine with waiting while she browses it, checking on the tea ever so often. Once it's ready, he would pour it out and set it in front of her (but not close enough to risk touching the book).

"Ragnar." He grins. "Or that's the name I was born with, anyway. There's been a couple of others over the years, Hanno here calls - called me Mago. They just kind of seem to happen."

"Does that ever get confusing?" Stone asks, tilting his head. "I've never gone by anything but Stone. After all this time, I doubt I could make myself answer to anything else." His self-identity is very strong.
